The petrochemical industry is continually growing and discovering fresh ways to generate and use chemicals to advantage the industry and the planet with a double block and bleed valve. Now, SIBUR is supporting to advance the industry even further with the IQ-Chem contest.
What is IQ-Chem contest?
The IQ-Chem contest will promote and discover innovations in petrochemical application and production. It provides petrochemical start-up a chance to present their projects and how they can better and develop the petrochemical industry for the future.KP-LOK valves and fittings
IQ-Chem will job to find and promote projects that support make technologies for transpiration and gas processing. It will also support ideas that can advance the production and plastics use, custom chemicals and elastomers. On top of that, IQ-Chem will target on finding projects for new equipment and technological solutions to better efficiency of technical and chemical processes.
The IQ-Chem contest is an offer to all petrochemical start-ups. Ideas and projects submitted will be evaluated by a jury of more than thirty international professionals from the biggest firms in the petrochemical industry. As an international stage for communication, the top start-up will have a possibility to get chances to work with these and other international chemical leaders. These chances can support participants find investors and finally turn the top projects and ideas into a complete industrial production.
How IQ-Chem advantages the petrochemical industry
IQ-Chem does more than support petrochemical start-up finds funding for their top ideas. The contest also jobs to promote the creation of better and more excellent ways to produce and use chemicals in the petrochemical industry.
As described by Jim Rekoske, CTO and Vice President of Honeywell UOP, this event will shine a light on the significance of how innovative ideas can support develop fresh technologies and new ways to use chemicals in the future.
“Society has relied on crude oil to offer fuels for more than a century,” he said. But now countless other chemical items can be made from hydrocarbons, demanding outstanding scientific innovation and technological advancement.”
Dr. Joost Waterloos of the exploration and scouting network, Ventures & Business development for Down in Africa, Europe, India, and Africa, also said that IQ-Chem would support start-ups make project that will advantage both the petrochemical industry and the full standard of life for the rest of the globe.
“Participation in IQ-Chem will permit brilliant participants to unlock their potential and build brave collaborations, making special projects essential to petrochemical industry and, as an outcome, to humanity as a whole,” he said.
Generally, the IQ-Chem contest is slated to pave the way for start-ups to make projects that will finally make the petrochemical industry and the globe better in the future.
